Why you need to book a pre-wedding shoot!

If you are already booked with me for your wedding, then you know that as part of the full day package a pre-shoot is included. Why? Here's one of my main reasons...

1. Over the years that I have been a wedding photographer, one of the most common phrases that comes up in the initial consultation is, "we're a little bit awkward in front of the camera."

I bet you may have said this before & if you haven't, either you or your fiancee have already thought this.

But not to worry, take a look through my portfolio & see just how beautiful your images can be. These couples were in the exact same place as you; super excited for their big day but a little apprehensive about posing for the camera.

But as you look through my work what you'll notice is that, there isn't much that you would say is posing. It's me capturing the couples in the moment. (Now, honest part here, I will help if needed, directing you where to stand in terms of the best lighting etc. but whether you decide to have a full on smooch, remind each other of something funny that happened when you were getting ready, or just have a moment taking it all in, you are in complete control.)

And this is something that all of my couples appreciate.

It is also something that they get to experience during the pre-wedding shoot for themselves. By time the big day comes, photography does not even feature as a worry in their minds because naturally, they remember how much fun they had & they've already seen how great they look!!

Planning your pre-wedding shoot will be fun - I always recommend choosing a location that has some meaning to you as a couple - Could be at the place or near where you had your first date. Or like for Jenny & Pablo, we visited a range of places, just like they did during their walks - The London Eye / St James's Park / Buckingham Palace.
